Understanding Personal Strengths to Spread the Gospel

Last weekend, Leadership Revolution Inc held a ½ day workshop with 75 key leaders and staff of Hoffmantown Church training and equipping them with Gallup’s StrengthFinders.

In working with these leaders over the last nine months, they have experienced how Strengthfinders has helped them see hidden talents in each other, greatly value one another in how God has wired them, work more effectively as teams, and exercise superior leadership skills.

The longer-term goal is to engage more of their church in ministry with one another and out into the community. Senior Pastor Erik Christenson said, “It is amazing how the Lord is using this tool to bring greater unity and see people more excited about ministry.”

Gallup has found that people who do focus on their strengths every day are six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs. They are more productive too, both individually and in teams. And they are more than three times as likely to say they have an excellent quality of life.

“We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
