Zimbabwe Leadership Training and Development

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

Last Friday we kicked off a 2-day intense leadership training with 20 key pastors and pastor-trainers her in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Calson Nyathi, who a coordinator for Evangelism Explosion and Leadership International in southern Africa recruited and hand selected these 20 pastors from five different countries – Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and Malawi.

These leaders were greatly challenged with this unique approach to leadership in that it forces a paradigm shift from man centered to Christ-centered, from man’ strength to God’s infinite power yielding a supernatural result. Each person was very encouraged about the simplicity of this teaching and that it returned the focus of leadership back to allow Christ to live and lead through us rather than trying hard to work for God.

Goal of the training was to train these men and woman to train utilizing the One Leader training and a new curriculum on servant leadership. They each have plans to take the Christ as the One Leader to over 50 cities and 1,000 leaders over the next year.

Please pray for Calson and this team as they go back to their cities, regions, and countries and the trails and problems they face are difficult and can be overwhelming.

I am truly humbled and encouraged to play a small part in making disciples of all nations.

Matthew 28:19-20, “ Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of The Father , the Son and the holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanding you and lo I am with you even to the end to the age.”
